Is there a possibility to park overnight if I rent a car, and what are the associated costs?

There is no free parking available at the property. However, the nearby parking garage at Vesturgata/Mjóstræ operates from 07:00 to midnight, costing 240 ISK per hour for the first hour and 120 ISK for each additional hour. Street parking is also available at the same rate, but it's free on Sundays.
If I arrive before check-in time, can I leave my luggage and explore the area?
